Greetings Rivers Family,
We're counting the days until our wonderful Family Reunion. I want to make sure that you all have all of the information you need regarding the upcoming event. It is more important than ever that we come together as a family in "Unity Now and Forever". I've included the following:
• On Saturday night we would like it if you would “Wear ALL White" to the Banquet”? This is not mandatory but would be very nice. We realize that everyone does not have email so please pass this information on to family members in your area.
• Our theme colors this year are red and white.
• We will have a Silent Art Auction so please bring with you any art pieces including sculptures, figurines, etc to be auctioned off during the Reunion. These do not have to be new. The proceeds will go to the Family Reunion Treasurer and Scholarship Fund.
• If you just want to come to the picnic only, the cost is $20.00 for adults and $10.00 for children.
• Teens, and young adults be prepared join the "2011 Design Stars" where you will put together a team in each Region who will come up with the T-Shirt design for the 2011 Family Reunion T-Shirt. More details will follow at the Family Reunion.
• Don't be left out of this festive occasion. Our President, George Rivers, has found another, less expensive hotel. The cost is $163 for the first night and $119 for the second and subsequent nights. The name the hotel is the Comfort Inn - Gold Coast / 11201 Coastal Highway / Ocean City, MD 21842 410-524-3000 /direct or call Choice Hotels 1-800-228-5150. Additionally, you can go on the websites listed below to obtain additional hotels that may be close to the hotel.
Look for hotels that are in close proximity to the Princess Royale which is located at 9100 Coastal Highway, Ocean City, Maryland.

Although the deadline has passed for our room block you can still contact the hotel to see if there are rooms still available. Call The Princess Royale at 1-800-476-9253 to make your reservations. The deadline is approaching or sending in your registrations fees.
If you have not yet sent your registration fees to Angela Nelson (Treasurer) please send them to her at 117 N. Foxhill Road, Richmond, Virginia 23223. Make checks payable to the Rivers Family Reunion. If you must send in your fees later please contact her to make arrangements at (804) 222-8279. NO CHECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED at the Reunion. CASH ONLY will be accepted. You can download a copy of the Registration Form from our website www.riversreunion.org. You don't want anyone to miss out!

Children: 6-11 years old $35.00
Children: 5 and under FREE

Beach Party only fees: Adults $20.00 Children (6-11) $10.00
The Beach Party will be held at the OC Jungle Bar’s Sun Deck which is located in the rear of the Plaza Hotel/Condominium. The address of the Plaza Hotel is 9800 Coastal Highway Ocean City,MD 21842. Free parking is available. It is located just a few short blocks from the Princess Royale.
